On the 4th and 5th September the 3rd annual meeting of the PredPeat Project took place in Uppsala.
Busy spring and summer field seasons did not stop the team meeting from happening! A few months in advance than initially planned, the different working groups reunited at EBC (Evolutionary Biology Center, Uppsala University) for a 2-day session of updates, exchanges of ideas and planning of future steps.
Once again the meeting proved that bringing together diverse perspectives and focus areas is key to pursue interdisciplinarity, which is at the core of PredPeat project. So, how to connect the analysis of peatland eco-hydrology with remote sensing? As Juul said “we have it all mapped out” and academically soon you will be able to read all about it!
